Important information

Transportation to and from workshop locations, lodging, meals, park entrance fees and personal photography equipment are not included unless otherwise stated.

Nightscape photography depends on weather and natural conditions. Workshops are planned around favorable moon phases and seasonal conditions, but specific astronomical or weather conditions cannot be guaranteed.

2027 dates, locations, group sizes, pricing and availability are subject to final commercial-use permitting and land-manager approval.

Peak-hosted workshops remain pending approval and unavailable to book. Partner registration and terms are handled by Matt Dieterich Photography.

The experience behind the photograph

More than a place.
A new way to see.

Stand beneath a sky full of stars. Slow down. Build an image with intention.

These workshops bring photography out of the tutorial and into the landscape. The goal is to connect the decisions you make behind the camera with the photograph you want to create—from the first composition to the finished edit.

Is this the right experience for you?

Come for the landscape. Bring your curiosity.

Starting after dark?

Look for an itinerary that matches your camera experience. Ask about the basics covered and what you should practice before arriving.

Bring the questions you have been working through. The published itinerary will explain which techniques and editing sessions are included.

Planning your trip?

Check the walking requirements, night schedule, equipment list and travel arrangements before booking. These vary by workshop.
